Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about prints, licensing, and the tools behind my work.

Collecting & Licensing

Where can I purchase prints?

You can explore all available print collections on the Fine Art Prints page.

My primary focus is the Limited Edition collection for collectors, available year-round via the Limited Editions page.

The Signature Collection opens in curated chapters a few times per year. Join the Collector’s List to get notified when the next release window opens.

Is it possible to license your photography?

Yes. Most photographs are available for commercial licensing, including campaigns, editorial use, book covers, and digital media. Please visit the Licensing Page to request availability or a quote.

If you already know the intended usage (channels, region, duration), include it in your message for faster turnaround.

Can I share your work online?

You’re welcome to share my work on social media or blogs if you include my name and a link to mikkolagerstedt.com.

Commercial use, publications, or marketing materials require written permission. For inquiries, email hello@mikkolagerstedt.com.

Gear & Photography

What camera equipment do you use?

I currently photograph with the Nikon Z8 and Nikon Z7 II.

Everything travels in a Tenba Axis V2 32L backpack.

What software do you use for editing?

I edit all photographs with Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

My workflow relies on the EPIC Preset Collection and custom Fine Art Actions.

If you want to see the full system in one place, the Learning Hub is the best starting point.

Do you have advice for starting photography?

Keep photographing. Vision forms through time, repetition, and attention. Follow what resonates, study light, and let the work compound.

If you want practical guidance, start with the free tools on the Learning Hub.

Where do you find inspiration?

From nature in Finland, the quiet of the night, fog, winter light, and the feeling of places. I also draw inspiration from films, visual storytelling, and atmospheric music.

General

Where are you based?
