The Collector’s Guide

Fine art transforms the atmosphere of a room. This guide will help you choose the right size, paper, and placement for your Limited Edition print.

1. Start With the Mood

Ask yourself what feeling you want to bring into the space. Calmness? Depth? Contrast? Atmospheric prints work beautifully in bedrooms and living rooms where you want a softer emotional tone to pause and breathe.

2. Finding the Right Size

Limited Editions are available in strictly limited numbers. The edition size decreases as the print size increases, making larger works rarer. Use this visual guide to understand the scale.

3. Placement & Hanging

Eye Level Rule: Hang the center of the artwork at about 145–155 cm (57–61 inches) from the floor.

Above Furniture: Leave about 15–25 cm (6–10 inches) of breathing space between the furniture and the frame.

4. Paper & Quality

I use museum-grade Hahnemühle archival papers. You can choose between two surfaces depending on the look you want.

Matte – Photo Rag 308 gsm

Zero reflection, velvet-like surface. Best for a calm, painterly atmosphere. The deep blacks soak into the paper, creating a soft quality. Ideal for rooms with windows (no glare).

Pearl – Baryta 315 gsm

Slight sheen, high definition. Best for drama and detail. The surface has a subtle glow that makes stars pop. Richer blacks and higher contrast.
